"By creating an account or using tivvio, you agree to these terms. please read them — they're written plainly and tell you exactly what you can expect from us and what we expect from you."

1. About tivvio

tivvio is a South African event ticketing and management platform operated by Siyabonga Ngcobo, trading as tivvio (business registration in progress). the platform is accessible at tivvio.xyz and allows event organisers to create events, sell tickets, and manage attendees, and allows attendees to discover and purchase tickets.

By accessing or using tivvio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms of service and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on tivvio. By signing up, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • You will use the platform in accordance with these terms and all applicable South African laws

3. Accounts

When you create a tivvio account, you are responsible for:

AccuracyProviding accurate and complete information.
SecurityKeeping your account secure — ensures your email account is secure.
ActivityAll activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at hello@tivvio.xyz if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Organiser Terms

Your Responsibilities:

  • Solely responsible for accuracy, legality, and delivery of events
  • Must have the legal right to host and sell tickets
  • Event details must be accurate at the time of publishing
  • Must honour all tickets sold through tivvio

Attendee Data:

Data shared with you may only be used for managing your event. No marketing without explicit consent. Handle all data in compliance with POPIA.

Free events always have zero platform fees. Paystack fees (1.5% + R1) are passed transparently to the attendee.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

If an organiser cancels an event, they are responsible for refunds. Tivvio platform fees are non-refundable once a ticket is sold, except where required by law.

Attendees seeking refunds should contact the organiser directly. Tivvio may intervene in disputes at its discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

tivvio's liability is limited to the amount paid to tivvio in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are a platform, not an organiser, and are not liable for the delivery or quality of events.
